Frameworks
The right to health is a fundamental part of human rights, the 1946 Constitution of the World Health Organization, 1966 International convention on the economic, social and cultural rights highlight health as part of fundamental rights to every human being since then many international human and health rights treaties and frameworks have been put in place in recognition of the right to health. In an era were ending AIDS has become a realistic vision, HIV should be addressed as a high priority health and rights human issue grounded in national, regional and international frameworks.
